Ok...I started out with the idea that I would go nice and easy the whole time. It didn't last to long. I felt pretty good so I just got to a pace that was comfortable but not to hard. I guess I'm pretty good at maintaining my pace based on feel since I was just about right on the whole time. I am happy I pushed it during this run but not sure what I accomplished. I think I just put myself at more risk of getting injured. The pace isn't really slow enough to help me burn fat and improve my distance and it's not really fast enough to help me like a speed workout. I need to try to be more committed to my workouts and stick to what I'm going to do. Slow should be at the 10:30 to 11:30 pace for me right now since my race pace is only 8:30. My legs feel fine and my hip is doing good but If I don't stop these training runs at this weird pace I'm going to regret it.
