Goal was to run 8:00 minute miles - went 7:51, 8:10, 8:03, 7:46 and 7:54 for the first half. Then achilles/calf starting barking at me. Ran 8:40 (with a bit of stretching), 8:14 and 8:08. And then the quad also tightened and calf pain became unbearable. Staggered in with a 10:02 and 14:14. Even walking was painful. Need to hit the foam roller and the stick, and hope that I didn't do any damage. Need to hold this together for 4 more weeks.
