Frosty start to the year. A fresh north wind (N 12) made it a little frostier. Did not look at my splits at all this morning, which was good for several reasons. First of all, there were frequent patches of ice on the sidewalks. All the rain yesterday followed by the hard freeze last night left lots of places where water draining across the sidewalks in various places created ice hazards. Secondly, I was running on just over 4 hours of sleep after staying up with the family and the Garys to see in 2019.
