The opening quarter felt nice and quick, but the time slide started almost right away on me. Decided I'd best just cut it off at 4 reps and let the speedwork have its effect on me in a small dose to start with since I have not run a workout like this in a LONG time. I think, however, that I'm going to experiment on all my track days with blowing out a really hard 200 at the end of every workout, hoping this helps with neuromuscular coordination when somewhat tired with the ultimate goal of improving that kick.
