Notes

Good run. Took a needle today at 9:30 AM. The injection included lidocaine and a corticosteriod. He injected the obterator internous bursitis. The relief was immediate. I was able to run with no pain in the area. However, it's sort of numb like after the dentist, so maybe that's why. The corticosteriod should start to work in about 48 hours. The good news to me is that he hit the spot and now we know for sure where/what the problem is. I can have 2-3 more of these if needed, but there is a good chance that the one shot will calm down the inflamation process. We'll see.

The run went well, nice to run faster than my IM goal pace with a HR in mid zone 2.
