well that was my best workout ever. or at least in a long time. I pr'd at every distance from 7 miles through 14 miles as far as I know. 1:16:06 for the half marathon. I ran about 10 meters extra on the last mile because I figured that I wanted to make the time a little more legit. for the most part going out was with the wind although the wind was from the north-northeast so really from .5 to 1.5 miles was the worst going up tt. from 7.9 to 12.1 was almost entirely into the wind, really across the wind but slightly into it. I was seriously aiming 6:05-6:10 pace so 6.9 at 42-42:30. when I checked my watch I was shocked because I felt great but I was doing low 5:40s. I don't remember ever feeling that great doing that kind of pace. of course then it was an uphill and probably short mile in 5:55 and then 4.2 miles into the wind, after I was already 8 miles tired. I still felt great and I did those 4.2 in 25:10 (1:10:12-45:02?) which is still 6 flat pace and it was into the wind. you can see 10.1 to 12.1 was 12:01 but 12.1 to 14.1(1) was 11:42 and into the wind was downhill and with the wind was uphill yet there was still a 19 second difference over those two miles and considering the net up/down that's probably closer to a 30 second difference over two miles less the last half mile finishing euphoria of probably 5 seconds so like 10-12 seconds per mile harder into the wind than with the wind.

i also wore my orange tights for the first time all year, I found them after cleaning my room and I did not feel like pants or patagonia tights. my clothing worked really well.

I'm so blessed. I mean I seriously though I was cranking out 6:0x pace the first seven miles and my hip felt pretty awesome, not perfect, but very good. I don't deserve to run this well. I am just amazed that I am pulling off a workout like this. just amazing. Thank God!
