The workout was 5x800 at 3k pace with 1.5 rest. We generally went a little under the 1.5 rest because it was a long time of standing around. I ended up doing active recovery on all of the intervals just so I could keep moving. After having some tough workouts last week, it was nice to get back on track with this. Everything felt pretty easy. Breathing stayed in check until the last one and even then it was well under control. We stuck to the faster end of our paces for most of the reps so because of that I controlled the last one the whole time and made sure that we took it a little slower (still within our range). Felt like I could have done this all day though.
