3x400 w/ 5' Recovery. 60-60-61. Pretty wild that this is a workout tangibly done on an outdoor track at 60 degrees in January. I feel good about this. Truth be told, I was messing around with my watch too much during this workout and it was not syncing very well, which I think had my focus drifting. However, in spite of that, I think I felt about as I predicted. The first one felt good without much tie-up, if any. The second I really felt like I was able to shift gears well the second 200. The third one I felt good at the start, but went out a little conservatively and then having Forrest to pace the last 200 was nice. I do think I focused too much on him rather than pushing, but I'm not going to sweat being .09 away from three 60 second 400s in January.
