Going into today, this was meant to be a "peak" workout for the 10K. I was having some inner turmoil with my job situation up in the air for the next semester and had a lot of work to get done, so I just decided to stop running and focus on what I needed to get done. Disappointing result, but sometimes that's the way the ball bounces.
