4 mile tempo on the treadmill. It was raining pretty hard outside and its cold, so I decided to stay in. With the signs of a cold coming on, I thought that would be a better idea. I had no motivation to do this. Man, getting drunk just really kills me - I took yesterday off and wasn't feeling it today. Anyways, I felt fine the first two miles. Because of the motivation aspect, I was just waiting for it to be over and thinking of cutting out early. My knee was bothering me during the third mile but I just blocked it out and focused on the workout. The last mile felt really good. I did not over-extend myself, breathing was still in control. Some guy came into the fitness center and cranked up the heat on the thermostat so by the end I was sweating like cray. Ended up going a lot better than expected which is a good sign going forward.
I'm over 2k miles for the year, which I've never done, so happy to finally accomplish this goal.
