Man, great run today. Doing the "long run" with Carter. We were cruising for awhile. His watch was saying 6:40 pace the first half hour, which I don't necessarily believe. We slowed down the next ten minutes because they are supposed to progress for the last 20 minutes. The last 15 minutes we probably averaged 6:30 pace and finished around 6:20 pace. He was laboring so I cut it a little earlier. Also he was feeling the heat and lack of electrolytes. But I felt better today than in a long time. No knee pain (during the run), no stomach issues, and I feel like I have not lost too much fitness the last month even with everything else going on and the lack of running. Walking everywhere and being on my feet all day long probably helps. I don't wanna get too high on the last two days but it's the best running I've gotten in since the beginning of winter.
