Tougher workout than last week. Ran with Lapp, Dakota and Giberson and Kevin for the last set. My left calf was tight from around the third rep on, but did not really bother me during the actual interval. We went a little too fast as this is goal pace for Club Relays. Although average pace puts us at 4:36, so really that is not too far above the goal (4:35-4:40). My indoor PR is 4:40, but I feel like I am in pretty good shape right now, so who knows what will happen when I run a mile. On the last interval, the guys wanted to run faster, so I said only on the last 100. Instead Mike took the whole interval out fast and I took off with 200 to go and ran around 28-29. Felt good to run that fast. Hoping that I am not too tired tomorrow. Did core and upper body after.
