Planning on doubling for recovery, instead just did a longer easy run at a v relaxed pace. Just chilled through Country Club. Sore, but felt alright.

For all intents and purposes, I hit 200 miles this month, which I'm really proud of. This month was hard. I had no energy at all the first 3 weeks, took a few days off and lived through one of the worst runs (pun intended) of my life so I think getting to 200 signifies getting through all that. I have just over a month until the marathon, and I probably am not going to hit the goals that I assigned myself a long time ago, but I feel like I have really learned a lot about myself, my training style and just committing to a lifestyle in one of the toughest summers for running that I've experienced. Looking forward to the next couple weeks and getting some good workouts in with the team.
