Notes

First bit of speed for the season. Workout was 10x200 at 3k goal pace with 200 recovery. Jeff said I could push a bit harder at the end, which is why I switched to spikes (also haven't worn these in years - thought I'd see how they feel). This was pretty easy, but it's a starting point. The number of repeats will increase and I think I'm going to run the recoveries a little quicker (and keep them active for the time being). As I get closer to the peak race, the number of 200s will go up (to 15) and this workout will also start to blend in with my 1k workout (figuring out how). Happy with today though. Race pace felt comfortable and running hard felt good on the last two
