Notes

Interesting 12 hours on the block. Last night at like 11:45, our block blew up with police sirens and there were about 11 cop cars that showed up and started sprinting out of their cars with dogs too. After watching the scene unfold, they ended up transporting a 14 year old kid to the police station, sounded like he had participated in a hit and run but the amount of cars was rediculous. What was interesting was seeing all the neighbors go out with cameras and interact with the cops.

Flash forward to this morning, I’m walking Thelma. We take two steps into our neighbors yard (this is 7:00). He starts banging on his window, shooing is off his yard. Never seen that before but I wonder what prompted that...

Anyway, as for the workout, I ran at Crystal Lake. Did 6x5 minutes at threshold with a minute off. It went pretty well. I got a little hitch in my calf that I’ve had for awhile and haven’t really noted. Doesn’t hold me back too much but I gotta take care of it for sure

Oh shoot I was wondering why so many cops came flying by race street at that time.
