Notes

Was waiting for a day like today. Just a death march today. Humidity was pretty stiff and that combined with some unwanted anxiety made my breathing a bit more choppy than normal. I did not feel great from the jump and was counting the minutes on the A Loop. Knew if I could get through my solo portion (90), I'd be fine when I met up with the kids. This was somewhat true. I ran with Aaron and Sam and they put in solid work today. The wave of awfulness finally ended at 2:15. Getting through that gave me some confidence knowing how those last miles are going to be in Berlin. Chose to just do 2:30 and the remaining 9 minutes were cooldown to Blair to get water and back home. 2:30 was fine with me because I feel as though getting through that wave is better for me personally than going an extra 15 minutes. I know I can, I did not feel as though I had to show that to myself today.

Good breakfast after.

good work pushing through it. i think the mentally straining long runs are good to have once in awhile as a reminder.
