4x4. We were out of contention after our first leg... no real surprise there. One team behind us. I ran the whole thing by myself. This is the race I really want to focus on with the fatigue factor. Even in the strides, I just feel like I'm not hitting that next gear that I could hit maybe not easily, but I could hit last year. With 400's I try to sprint hard the first 7 seconds, coast toward the 200 and then pick it up and hammer it home. But, my explosion out of the handoff was non-existant today, so I couldn't hit that top speed and just wandering around at the same pace. I'm going to focus on sleep this week. I know the training is appropriate because I see the results all around me. Like I said in the 800 post, I feel like that breakout meet is coming and I'm just gonna run very fast. Hopefully that happens at nationals. Just going to train hard this week and put it out there.
