My mindset on the last two weeks was that I was just pressing pause on training. Today was about resuming. 3x8 minutes w/ 1' active recovery, 1st 5:55 pace, 2nd 5:45 pace, 3rd, 5:50 pace. Ok, think I'm finding what the new schedule for running looks like. Waking up comes earlier, getting Baloo out comes earlier and bringing him back home by 6:15. I can then use about 40 minutes to get a run or workout in. Pushed on the 2nd one, pretty windy, tuckered after that, also had to tie my shoe so sat there for 40 seconds and let the acidosis come thru. 3rd one was about just weathering the storm and telling myself that I'll feel better soon. After about 3 minutes, I started feeling better and cruised the last bit. Happy with the first workout in a couple weeks. Ideally I would get one more eight minute interval in - I felt it was there, but time did not allow for it. On to the next one.
