Notes

Last track workout before Club Relays. I was looking forward to doing this workout. We did it at 8 PM instead of 10. The group was Me, Kevin Jorg, Kevin Lapp, and Kevin Hearne. I felt a little tight on the first one, but led the whole time and felt ok by the finish. The next four we did the usual routine of switching off the leads halfway through. Over the course of the workout I loostened up a bit. On the fourth one, I really pressed Lapp as he was trying to go around me because I wanted him to be sure of himself in making a pass. The fifth one I passed Lapp with 300 to go and nobody went with me, so I finished all alone. I did not hammer or anything. I felt in control the whole workout. I really tried to focus on keeping my breathing under control and maintaining form and staying relaxed. I think I did a good job with that because I did not get any junk build-up in my legs and I was never weezing. Overall I am happy with this, but wish I had Manois for this to keep pushing.

We have one workout left (Thursday - mile repeats at T). I'm probably going to take that one easier than normal. But, I am really looking forward to Club Relays. I'm running 3 races and ready to PR. I have not been this excited to race in a long time and realistically am expecting some big things.
