Notes

While the time is correct, the distance is a best guess. The weather was in the 50's -- I ran without a hot, gloves or jacket (very unusual). Footing, while 100% beeter, still had lots of "ponds" of water (and puddles) and there was a bunch of icy sidewalks in shady areas (esp on the Base). I'm sure I ran a lot faster than lst week--just due to much better footing...and weather (i.e., It wasn't a miserable run like last week's 20 miler) Perspective is everything. The injured achillies...and in turn knees has been such a downer not to include the bad weather (I'm not looking forward to these runs...despite basically only doing long runs), I'm being worn out. The achillies is much. much better--but in turn both knees are taking a beating. I ice EVERY night...and I only run once a week (I hit the elliptical twice this past week - 30 mins/each). Perspective.....even though I'm being worn out....knowing I only had to run 14, vice the 20 of last week, felt very liberating. I'm thinking that good feeling will only last this week....lol.
