Ran the first 1.5 miles with Maureen Laub (totally unexpected), who tells me how slow she is...lol...no! She had already rowed for 20 minutes when she showed up at the front desk..I started totally cold. She ran fast up VA Ave (I didn't expect this...and it really taxed me). I thought she'd turn around at the top of the hill...she went about half way to Merriams. It was the coldest run of this season 19 degree...ans while extremely cold, it was tolerable becasue there was no wind. when I went into the gum and stripped, my body was a deep red (ouch) in numerous places...yes, it was just that cold.
