Short easy run for taper week. Seemed a tad faster than what would be considered easy pace but still easy, especially for a short run. Shoes were loose but ok. To think I have to do 22+ more miles at that pace on Sunday, but I think I was just warming up. My half mile splits were pretty consistent, I was very conscientious in staying around 8:34, even slowing down the last .41 to 8:57. I had to cut it short to make sure I could take Sabby to school, but I could have easily just ran around in circles to make 4. Next time.
