super nice easy chill run. Enjoyed running in downtown royal oak. I always die laughing because there is a naked statue in the middle of downtown and I am a child. One interesting thing on the run was that I ran past a gang (I know it was a gang because before I ran past them I could hear them talking about hitting another gang) today made eye contact and told them good morning. I think they appreciated it because they said "look at the balls on that white boy with the shortest shorts I have ever seen, and getting the work while talking to us" and another guy said "respect white boy". I have never been more honored in my life, I don't know what came over me but I was like ehh if they try to hurt me I can outrun them and I don't want to cross the street right now. To quote Ted Lasso "that's all we got is balls"
