Notes

Didn't want to do anything crazy. Even though all evidence is pointing to acid reflux.... heart issues won't be completely ruled out until tomorrow night's appointment with the cardiologist. But I felt good enough to run and this was my way of getting back on the horse. There were three small hill repeats during the middle of the workout. These probably occurred late in mile two or early in mile three. I ran up the Inman hill, went back down around the basketball court and repeated this three times. After that I just controlled my heart rate.

I trusted my kids to do what they had to do today and didn't try and push them. I just hung enough with the top girls in the first two miles to make sure they did their hill repeats. I arrived as the tops boys were finishing theirs. And yes I did the hills as well. My top kids definitely took it easy. For my first run in over a week I'll take it.

For a recovery run I'll take what my kids did. The boys ran it about 8:00 pace and the girls 8:40. Was a solid easy run for us all.

Glad to see you are feeling better. No rush though, we need you in tip top shape some the R2C.
