Notes
I am a firm believer that every marathon training season includes one bad run to "let the evil spirits out" thereby allowing for a great race day. Today felt like that day. I started at a disadvantage with poor rest, not optimal fuel, hectic workweek, and quads still sore from Thursday's tempo. Add temperatures in the teens and I never felt loose, warm, or good but I staggered forward and logged the miles! Lloyd joined me for the last 5 which was a great boost though the pace didn't reflect it.
