Lloyd took me on a tour of the parkland and hills behind the house where he grew up. The trails were muddy and included water crossing and steep ledges. I got cranky and walked some of those sections because after a month of icy runs, the last thing I wanted to think about was staying upright and watching footing. I just wanted to RUN. After that trail section the run and my disposition improved. Lloyd is a patient man. We got some nice views of the whole Bay region from the hills. The weather was so nice - perfect running weather. We stopped a lot on this run to look at things (or for me to nervously traverse something Lloyd makes look easy) so I'm not sure of the avg. pace.
