Felt silly lining up at this small race with all the talent racing elsewhere. 3 laps around hilly Beachwood Park. Splits: 5:51, 11:55, 18:02, 18:42
Decided last night run this. Took lead around 800m and pretty much a solo effort after that. Started lapping the walkers and was delayed on the footbridge for a couple seconds. Basically the course was 6 hills, one each 1/2 mile, including a final climb to the finish. First-time winning a 5k though the time unimpressive. Randy missed a chance to whip me today.
