Notes

Inaugural Pro Football Hall of Fame marathon in Canton. 35F with light wind at the start, 50F at the finish. No excuses weather conditions, just a slight breeze at the end.

Came into the race a bit undertrained mileage-wise, but prepared for and aiming for 3:05 (sub-3:10 for sure.)

The story of my day was over-hydration fail. Ran pretty much to plan, effort-wise, but needed to stop to empty a full bladder twice. Gave away 70 seconds in the 11th mile and 45 seconds in the 15th mile to stop and pee. Started to slow miles 22-26 but held on, motivated to get under 3:10 and re-qualify for Boston. Racing marathon undertrained is stupid.

Ran with Stacher for first 10 miles before breaking off to potty...caught up to him in the 23 and finally passed him in the 26th mile. He finished 13 seconds behind.
