3.25 warm-up and 2 cool-down. Two strides prior to the start of the workout. Cold 29F and 11 windchill at 8:45 a.m. With Randy on the B&H from Rt 303. Workout of 4x 2-miles @ Threshold-pace; with 2:30 rests between. Goal 6:15-6:20 pace.
Splits: 12:35, 12:34, 12:34, 12:20 (last mile in 6:06)
Cold. Hit the paces pretty well. Honestly, this run felt easy because with all the race stuff on my mind running is the fun part. Tried to reserve a kick for the final half-mile of the last interval.
A benchmark workout - one I've done in previous training cycles. 3.5 weeks to Boston and outlook is up.
