Very emotionally chill and fun race. The first mile and a half was a bit strange because the lead pack took it out real hard so I was gapped and running by myself probably around 12th place. I started to have some negative thoughts but I was able to brush them off as soon as people started coming back to me. Caught everyone but 3 Bradly guys. Someone told me after the race that I beat a 4:00 miler and an 8:45 steeplechaser which is pretty sweet. Very happy with this race, and I know I could’ve run with that top 3 guys had I taken it out harder. That wasn’t the plan for this meet though. Team looked good, but we need to tighten up the gap from 4-5.
