Race went ok - not quite up to my expectations. First mile felt strangely difficult. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get very far up in the corral, so I ended up started pretty far back. Kinda irritating because they went off gun time and not chip time, so I had 24:03 on my watch but ended up with a 6 second slower official time. Finished first for Runablaze, right ahead of Garret. Lost to Fitness Sports.
Just not a great day. Didn't feel good for a number of reasons. Excited to run another 8k in a few weeks and hopefully run a lot faster.
