Notes
Splits: 69, 66, 66, 62. The first 200 was a 38. I got out very well and settled in third. Wasn't quite sure what mile pace would feel like since I haven't run much of it recently, so I kinda just figured I felt good until I saw the clock on the homestretch and realized the pace was ridiculously slow. After that, everyone made aggressive moves to get up to pace and I tried nudge up the pace as gently as possible, so I ended up falling back to about 9th place. I stayed outside which helped kept me out the majority of the trouble that comes from a slow pace in a mile. I was gradually able to work back up to the lead pack of about 6 guys. Passed a couple more on the last lap. Overall, very fun, low-pressure race. I think I'll be ready to run a lot faster soon.
