Notes
This was a super fun event. Awesome course. I started off basically in the lead but around the mile Joe and one other guy started rolling. I held back and fell in with the chance pack. Me and one other guy broke away from the chase pack around mile 2. I made some moves to attempt to break him but I was unsuccessful and he ended up outkicking me the last 50m. I took 4th and won $200 and a donut, so I can't complain. I had a great cheering squad.
I honestly felt like absolute trash during the race. I couldnt fall asleep the night before and ended up only getting a few hours of pretty bad quality sleep. Probably in a bit better shape than what this race showed. Stoked for my half marathon in a week.
