When your legs feel great and your lungs say NOPE. (FU cottonwood and pollen)
Welp. Tried! Spot on for first 2 mile reps but the effort felt a little high with my allergies/nagging cough and the warmth. Backed off pace to be smart and find intended effort and even that felt a bit harder than it should have for last 2 miles. Tried 3 short reps and legs were ready to fly, but the coughing fit after each told me it was a nope. I'll live to fight another day, off to find some benadryl or something.
