Winter warrior half marathon, MCC Course.
35, cloudy, breezy. Some light snow here and there. Last loop got windier/snowier/wet.
Eased in the first 2 miles but was feeling antsy. Caught the few men around 2.5 and decided to leapfrog all of them and take the overall lead and never looked back. 4 loop course. Windy/loopy through parking lot so tangents were tough and hence extra mileage. Felt good once I got going and really proud I was willing to take a risk and see what happened. Really controllled and strong and this was a big step forward. Not a PR but my second fastest. Felt like PR effort to me.
