Man I love running outside. It felt so good to be back out there. I ran almost the entire way. Gone are the pre-scheduled walk breaks. Walk 1:30 min at beginning. Then at water stop, picked up bottle, walked to drink then ran again. just after 2 mi. stopped for one last 1 min. walk break. That was the first time it felt "hard". I still jogged on through with no problems though. Noticed that I ran faster at same percieved effort on the pavement than on the dirt trail. That is probably the reason behind the much faster time on my race. Feeling good about the upcoming hilly 5K course. I might not be fast, but I don't think it will kill me! Man I love running!
