Easy Run

Fast walked & did drills b4hand. Legs felt heavy today as yesterday almost as if I have not recovered fr Sat's long run. Ran out of Whole Foods and then hung a left on Sharon towards Sulkirk (had tail wind, really focused on controlling the pace, but felt terrible like I would not be able complete the first mile - legs hurt). Turned left on Sulkirk (running up the rolling sections helped "lock in" pace and get my cadence/form in rhythm). Left on Park Central but the downhill did not feel easy (nothing over the first 4-5 miles of this run felt easy -- felt "forced"). Right on Park and then right up Old Reid (the steeper hill section of Old Reid felt easier than the prior sections). Turned left on Park Central and now into that stiff wind. Felt like I had to work a lot harder on the downhill section which then felt much worse on the uphill section until the steep drop - at the bottom of that hill mile 3 clicked off, and began to feel really bad on the climb up Park Central to Fairview (felt like I was in slow motion & had to stop the urge to stop in frustration). Hung left on Fairview and ran loop out to Park Rd and back - still could not find any rhythm (mile 4). The strange thing is the Mile 5 was more rolling vs. mile 4 and felt about the same but somehow my pace improved -- and decided that regardless of how bad I felt I would not stop until I grabbed my water bottle at Whole Foods Looped around the corporate park, then around Panera, and now back up Fairview to Sharon (again, mile 6 was mostly uphill from Piedmont Row to corner of Sharon/Fairview but pace improved again? For the final mile I saw the mile 6 pace and then attempted to cut/control pace over the final mile. Actually felt better over the final 3 miles and not sure why?
