Injury Recovery Run

Fast walked (1mi) & did drills prior. Much warmer & still humid for 10pm & oppressive. Started fr Whole Foods & ran down Fairview left on Sharon past Ashley looping back on Sharon left on Fairview & then looped around the first parking lot after gas station (mi 1 - felt much better vs. Thu, legs did not feel sore or tired), ran down to Barclay Downs handing right past Zoe's then right on Sharon & at corner crossed street & then down Sharon & right on Piedmont Row left on Carnegie running around to back (mi 2 - again, felt surprisingly better vs. Thu but I could feel the heat sapping my energy & slowing me down, legs had spring & able to maintain rhythm), continued behind corp buildings & looped back & then left on Carnegie towards Village Tavern going right then right again & up Piedmont Row across street into building behind Zoe's & stopped (mi 3 - over the last 1/4 mi I could feel myself really overheating & began to feel really uncomfortable - sweating profusely as if I jumped in a lake & head hurt). After some dynamic stretching & venting heat, resumed running around corp park left on Barclay Downs right & up Sharon to Fairview past hotel & then looped back on Sharon to Fairview (mi 4 - noticed how I felt much "stronger" running this vs. prior runs where I felt really weak & the first 1k was uphill), right & up Fairview to finish (I was completely soaked in sweat).
