3 x Strides on (wet) Harris Y dirt (mud) trial
Wore the K-Swiss Blade Lights and they felt light on my feet. Took day off yesterday (ran long on Wed, and ran 60+ miles last week, so legs felt ok but not refreshed). Ran the first one and felt good. Then as a I ran second stride I could really feel my leg lift kick in (feel this is the combined effect of being able to do deadlifts over past 4 wks and my ability to do "high knee drills" starting 5 weeks ago all due to groin injury subsiding). On the third stride, a pretty girl appeared fr nowhere running in the rain and muck (and she was fast) as I was turning 10-15m fr starting the stride, so she got a lead and then I ran up/past her (again, I could really feel my leg lift kick in). Accurate splits:
