Easy Run

75 deg. I ran this run 2 miles / walk 30 sec (take off shirt) / run 2 miles / walk 30 sec / run 1.1 miles. Did 2x drills prior (16x butt kicks + 8x side stretchs + 8x high knees -- notice that my legs really "snap" now when I do these butt kicks). Ran in the extra cushioned Blade Max's and purposely kept things under control (slowed down) in mile 1 (felt good) and felt good thru mile 2. Took shirt off, then felt good for the next 1.25 miles, was 1/2 mi fr Sharon climbing up Colony and then it was like everything went into slow motion -- legs felt like lead was coursing thru my veins, my legs seemed to slow down, felt terrible. Gutted out next 1/4 mile to my next scheduled "walk stop", saw the split and my split confirmed how terrible I felt. When I started up I still felt pretty bad but then kind of kept things together as this was mostly flat (down Sharon, a lap around a parking deck in S. Pk mall, out to Fairview and then back into Phillips Place. Everytime I started up felt pain in right Adductor (for about 20-30 seconds and then it would slowly diminish) -- it felt the worst when I started up again in mile 4.
