Easy Run
Fast walked and did drills b4hand. When I started felt so much better biomechanically & from a rhythm standpoint vs. yesterday. First mile was into a 12 mph cold headwind. When I turned it started to get warm so took shell off & this made a big difference. Ran over to N. White Plains train station and did a couple of laps where like last week, when I ran up the parking lot things were fine but when I turned around ran into the headwind which was not as bad as last week but still a pain. At around 4 miles I could feel some "soreness" or "stickyness" in seismoid region of big toe. At around 4.5 miles I could feel a loss of rhythm so stopped at 4.8 miles, did some butt kicks & high knees, and then continued on & regained rhythm/cadence.After I saw split for mile 5 actually tried to control the pace over mile 6 but this mostly w/the wind behind me. Left big toe seismoid area bothering me after this run.
