Very humid and high dew pt (ran into breeze over last 1.5 mi but wish it was there sooner). Lifted, fast walked 4/10ths of mi & did drills beforehand. Ran down Sharon and then right on Sharon Amity past Providence to just before Cottswold shopping center and then turned around. Started out and felt good (got into a good & repeatable rhythm) but felt like something was "off" (as if I was not feeling 100% although it could be the high dew pt). Said to myself how things are starting to feel "easier". The first four miles were similar to last week (same route) except stronger on the uphill 2nd mile and expected to be faster on the downhill 4th mile (felt more "fluid"). However, right at about 4.75 miles (~44 min in) the wheels came completely off -- all of a sudden I went into slow motion and it was a monumental struggle to keep one leg in front of the other. Planned to stop by ATM right at 5 mi and it was all I could do to get there. After the ATM, after about 100m I went right back into "slow motion" - this felt like the longest 4+ minutes run of my life and something I know I'm going to keep experiencing and wish I never did. I'm also stuck at the "plodding pace". Left foot (PF) hurt more than usual.
