Easy Run but huge setback

57 degrees. Harris Y trail. Did 2x drills prior and could feel pain in left foot (more pain vs. last week or week prior but expected). Had not run in four days and usually much slower (9+ min pace on first day like this). Started out and expected to feel a lot of pain in left foot but surprised because the pain was a "4" vs. the 7/8 level I expected. I could feel stress in my fascia in left foot, less on the grass. Everything felt ok except foot. Things were under control thru mile 1, at mile 2 I thought about extending to 4 miles. But at ~2.5 miles I began to feel more pain in left foot, as if my fascia were being stretched and then as if there was no more elasticity. This should have been a sign to stop but I didn't (thinking that this was a pang and not a longer term issue). At 3.4 miles in went on the grass to see if pain lessened but it really didn't, so when I got near the pavilion at HarrisY field stopped. I feared that this would be a big setback -- an hour or two later not so much, 5 hours later when I took a shower it was a big setback as I'm back (but in left foot) to how I felt when PF got really bad in right foot in early July (it was extremely painful to walk on hard bathroom surface, when I pick leg off ground the pain in my heel is searing, super tender). This seems worse vs. early July since after taking 3 days off I have this huge setback, but in early July after taking 3 days off I was able to resume and progress (3 mi run, then 4.25 the next day) whereas today things got much worse :-(
