10K pace set (Critical Velocity pace)

Goal: 6 x 1k (unknown pace)

Actual: 6 x 1k @7:34 pace (~2 to 3 min recovery)

Wanted to run at Critical Velocity (CV or 10k) pace although hard to gauge what that is at this point. Hamstring held up. The trigger pt in my right lower Adductor was ok. Felt "winded" on #1 only going at 7:41 pace (the deadlifts took a lot out) and realized that these NB Fresh Foam are not fast shoes (will have to insert them into easy run rotation). On #2 began to feel the onset of a side stitch and consigned myself that I may not even finish. But then I started to feel stronger (went a bit faster on #3 and #4). Then Y closed, rushed outside and finished out the set on the road, running by feel. #5 did not feel fast and I was cautious about trying to run it fast -- and had what was now a bothersome 10-12 mph wind in my face for almost 2/3rds of each). On #6 did run it faster but again controlled pace throughout to avoid running this too fast.
