Easy Run
Steady rain to start. Fast walked & did drills. Hamstring hurt more to start, felt tight and bothersome over the first 1/2 mi & then sort of faded away. Ran the hill route down Sharon, over to Sulkirk, down Park South & then up Old Reid, down Park South up to Fairview,, over to Park and then back up Fairview meandering around to hit the mileage. How I felt is 180 degrees opposite fr pace --> felt tight & no spring (felt forced) over the first 3 miles & most was into a bothersome headwind, the final four miles were mostly w/a tailwind where I felt much better (springy) & form felt very fluid. Stopped a little past six miles just to be conservative to stretch right hamstring and it felt much better at this point vs prior days. Only thing I can think of is that I was wearing sleeveless shell bec of rain threat and overheated?
