(un)Easy Run

Very hot to start. Fast walked & did drills prior (right hamstring was tight & more bothersome than last wk). Started out fr Whole Foods & ran out & left on Sharon (felt sluggish, legs felt tired & weak, no bounce, feeling same weakness as 2 weeks ago where I feel strength has been zapped by hamstring injury). It felt like an "effort" just to run (did not feel easy). Ran down Sharon & then looped into church & back out (mi 1). Continued on & then looped into Sulkirk to Rutherford back out & right on Sharon (mi 2 - felt very slow, every step was an effort, sweating only 2 mi in), continued on into HarrisY parking lot, loop in parking lot & then out and across the street to the school (at this point I felt really hot, head was hurting, felt like there was no way I could 6.7 mi & then in a lucid moment thought - why not do a shorter run tonite in these hot conditions & save the 1 hr effort for Sun when it will be cooler!). Made the decision, turned back to Whole Foods & stopped at 3 mi (sweating profusely, head hurt, face hot, felt terrible - walked about 2 min - it was so hot out!). Then ran the 1.5 mi back to Whole Foods (felt terrible, felt all of the strength zapped out of me, just focused on keeping cadence no matter how slow this felt, how weak I felt & how hot I felt). Shorts completely soaked after 4.6 mi & felt zapped!
