Easy Run during a Hurricane remnants

Ran this as the very outer bands of Florence hit Charlotte. Broke up this run into two segments (3.6+ mi, went into Whole Foods b4 they closed, then 2.9 mi). I hit two insane bands in the first 1/2 mi & then the first 3/4 mi of when I restarted where it was a torrential downpour, 30-45 mph winds where the rain was literally going sideways & where I was fortunate to be wearing the yellow shades on my sunglasses. Ran out of Whole Foods up Ashley left on Sharon looped past hotel & back on Sharon (into that wind torrent in my face where it literally stopped me) left on Fairview & into Phillips Pl (mi 1 - after experiencing these extreme conditions I was more afraid of a tree falling on me or debris impaling me so I ran the rest of this in the safety of Phillips Pl which also served to block the wind). Felt stiff to start & then ran in and around Phillips Pl where I gradually felt stronger (pace confirms), no more rain after the 1st 1/2 mi & almost no wind - & then up to Whole Foods.

For segment 2 ran down to Phillips Pl fr Whole Foods & & when I entered it started pouring & got really windy, after 3 min there were sizeable puddles everywhere, and then 3/4 mi in the rain stopped, the wind stopped & that was it? Legs felt really stiff over the 1st mi & then gradually felt my strength come back as I completed this segment.
