Easy Run [8:06 pace p mi adj for heat]
69 deg / 39% H [43 DP]. Its the dew point (heat) and not my fitness. It was so pleasant tonite, low humidity that I ran w/my shirt on. No pain to start and felt good and focused on running easy -- and the first two miles did feel easy. Mile 3 featured some rollers and then into a wind. Mile 4 was partially into a brisk wind and mile 5 was mostly around the HarrisY dirt track and then out and back up Sharon to Whole Foods. What I noticed is this effort felt significantly easier vs. the Mon & Wed easy runs, I only struggled for a little in mile 5 (around the Y dirt track), at no time did I feel "fatigued" or "hot", and it become obvious over the last 1.9 miles as I ran up fr the Y to Whole Foods that I was running everything at a steady pace (and that my prior struggles were all about heat acclimation & not fitness).
