Fast Walk

Notes

Easy - Fast walk and was able to transition to walk/jog (and use that loosely as it was mostly walk and very little jog) over the last 1.7 miles. Started out and could feel that my right leg had some spring in it (prior I would feel a point of point in hip flexor at top of leg, still felt some pain in there but it felt less stiff on each step). Wind was really bad walking into it (miles 1 and 3). Over the first 2 miles I had at some points hop and did not feel the "grinding/severe" pain in hip flexor like I did previously -- so as I was fast walking down Park South at about 2.8 miles began to "jog" and started out very conservatively (8 steps walking / 2 steps jog) to 8/4. Felt pain when I would jog but after about 6 cycles the pain was not nearly as bad as previously and did not feel pain during the walking phase, so settled in at about 12 steps walk / 6 steps jog in mile 4, and then since I didn't want to overdo ratcheted this back to 16 / 4 over the final 1/2 mile. Did not have greater pain after compared to prior days.
