Easy Run

45 degrees (felt warm, took off reflective vest for most of this run & felt much better). Ran out to Cottswold and back. Felt pretty bad pain in right Psaos/right Adductor and left Adductor (felt like my legs would collpase for about 10 sec), the Adductor pain on both legs went away after about a minute but could feel that Psoas pain for about 5 min. Realized then that I forgot my headlamp so had to be careful running during various areas where the lighting was dim and be extra careful crossing busier streets. Legs generally felt good and focused on running easy (breathing thru nose, quick cadence, shortening stride up inclines). The first five miles basically felt the same (this felt like the pace I ran for the prior three runs of approx 8:30 pace -- fortunately my pace dropped into the teens). Mile 5 felt like the 4 miles. Towards the end of mile 5 I stopped to do 4 x [18 butt kicks + 8 high knees + 50 yds toe offs] as my right Psoas began to really hurt. Started back up and fortunately the pain was not same, quickly hit mile 5, saw 8:02 split and then tried to slow a little and focused on torquing my body, quick cadence and a good rhythm (which I did). After the drills I felt like I could get into a stronger bio-mechanically position which made the running easier.
